Valentine's Day Dinner At FullHouse Cafe

When I first heard of the name "Full House", I was immediately reminded of the popular 2004 romantic Korean drama by famous actors, Rain and Song Hye-Kyo.

Hence, I was (more or less) expecting FullHouse Cafe to bore an ambiance reeking of romance and having a sleek and clean look representative of Korean style cafes. I was not disappointed.

This white themed cafe is beautifully decorated with lush and vintage style furnishings, white roses and lilies as well as whimsical drawings of cartoon characters and accessories etc..

My husband and I feeling like royalty on this lush sofa
Pretty wallpaper and lamps
A beautiful fountain right at the main entrance to the cafe on level 2

Gorgeous white lilies and roses
Exclusive dining area for a small group
Unique photo frame with romantic couple pictures
Interesting cartoon drawings - the mascots of FullHouse

The menu
We were really impressed by the artsy feel of the whole place and that explains the many photos we took! All this time that we were busy taking pictures, our orders for dinner were being prepared - we simply could not sit still and wait for dinner to arrive as the surroundings are just too beautiful! We couldn't wait to explore the cafe!

When we got back to our seats, dinner was served:

Fish And Chips with Wasabi and Chilli Sauce
Pan Sear Chicken Chop with Vegetable
My husband enjoying his green tea milkshake
Although the ambiance and decorations of the cafe is fantastic, I have to say that the taste of the food is rather average. The fusion style cuisine served is quite decent, but definitely not of gourmet standard. After a 15% discount using UOB credit card, the bill adds up to just below $40, which is still reasonably affordable.

More photo-taking after dinner at the in-house boutique within the restaurant. Apart from women's clothes, accessories such as hats, belts, scarves and  fashion spectacles are also available for sale:

I like the red sun hat!

Black or White? Which sunnies do you prefer?
The outdoor area of the restaurant is as creatively and beautifully decorated as the interior:

Romantic wedding bells

Ethereal atmosphere with pretty decor
There is even a Mini at the porch of the cafe on level 1:
