"Men In Black" Fashion Shoot And Italian Dining Experience!

Before I knew it, Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day were over. I had a great time celebrating these two special occasions and hope everyone had the blast of a time too! Thanks to all ladies who have supported Lace And Buttons, especially for our CNY Collection which was sold out really quickly. We will be coming up with new designs in March so do keep a look-out!

Being really busy with all the celebrations going on, it has been a while since I last updated this blog with my personal fashion picks so here is a quick one:

Hawaii Top in Black From Lace And Buttons

When I first caught sight of these "Men in Black" a few months ago, I knew that I have to arrange for a photoshoot with these eye-catching statues! Just too interesting to miss in my opinion. The top I am wearing is one of my favorite staple pieces as it is so comfortable and goes very well with jeans and shorts. Recommended buy for ladies who can't have enough of casual chic pieces and definitely a bargain as it is on sale now at Lace And Buttons.

To end off, here is a quick review of our dinner at an Italian Restaurant after the photoshoot:

The restaurant serves a large variety of liquor
Chic Home-Style Alfresco Dining Area
Spaghetti Carbonara - Spaghetti with Cream Egg Yolk And Pork Bacon

Salmone Pizza - Smoked Salmon, Rucola, Capers, Mozzarella and pomodoro

Home-made Gelato - Chocolate And Pistachio Flavors
I am not a huge fan of Italian cuisine so I can't say that it was one of my best meals. However, I do find the taste of the pizza rather unique (as ingredients I am not familiar with were used), making me feel that the dish was authentically Italian. The crust was also baked just right, so that it was crispy with an adequate level of thickness (I don't like pizzas that are too thick). The spaghetti came with a very thick and creamy egg yolk sauce which was rather tasty but may be a tad too heavy after a few mouthfuls. Hence, it may be a great dish for people who love really creamy and savory dishes but not a must-have for small eaters. The gelato was not the best I have tried in terms of the overall texture but I have to say that the Pistachio flavor was delightfully palatable!

Overall I will rate the experience as average but if you are someone who like a more European taste or who like to experiment with food, this may be a restaurant you will like!
